Believe it or not, 42 Broad community, it is time already to get back to school. Don’t fret! Getting prepared for the school season doesn’t take away any seasonal fun. You still have all month long to finish your extraordinary summer. August is waiting for you! 

August is the final month of the season, so make the most of it! Plan a day trip to local water park, DreamWorks Water Park, or museum. Explore the surrounding area to enjoy culinary delights and small businesses. Don’t be afraid to enjoy a day inside, too. Watch a new movie, binge that TV show, and practice self-care. Go for a walk, use a face mask, or dance like no one is watching. 

Consider using this time to prepare yourself and your family for September. The school season will be less intimidating if you feel ready. Gather supplies such as notebooks, folders, and pencils. Think of tasty lunch ideas. The school day, or even the work day, goes by better when you know there is a fun and tasty lunch waiting for you. 

Dabble in both fun and responsibility this August. Make sure to create memories and enjoy the final days before getting back to school. Go on adventures and catch up on some z’s.
